(1) When you brows our main page noyb.eu
It’s simple: This page does not process personal data, beyond the necessary data to provide this page to you (“transaction information“) and to ensure the security of the page (“security logs“). Transactional data is not stored. Security log data (e.g. when the software identifies an “incident”) are deleted within 14 days, unless there is an individual reason to keep information for a longer period of time (e.g. individual IP addresses are blocked). The legal basis are a legitimate interest in IT security and the legal duty to take reasonable steps to secure our pages. We do not share personal data with other controllers.
Statistics: We run a statistics system that does not track personal data. Despite our system being only anonymous, we also respect “do not track” requests and offer opt-out options here to exclude data on your visit from any kind of statistics.
Cookies: We do not store personal data in cookies. We may store your own page settings in non-personalized ways (e.g. your language settings).
(2) In addition, when you become a supporting member and use https://support.noyb.eu
It’s simple: If you become a supporting member, we store the data you have provided in the forms. We generate a member ID number once you join. In addition we are legally required to generate a timestamp when you joined noyb as a member. This data is only stored in order to manage your membership. If you join as a member we store your IP address for reasons of fraud prevention. We keep a record of any changes you make to your membership data.
Cookies: We use a session cookie, to process your membership application. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Deletion: All data is regularly deleted, should you abort the sign-up process (“timeout”).
Third Parties:We do not transfer your data to any other data controller. We only use trustworthy processors that only process your personal data on our behalf. If you choose to pay via credit card, you will be forwarded to a security page of SIX Payment Services Austria GmbH and/or your paymet provider that is not under our control (e.g. “3D Secure Code” form).
(3) When you share our page on social networks
We have tried to make this page accessible to as many people as possible. Obviously we cannot ensure that all translations are 100% accurate. Therefore please refer to the English or German version if you are uncertain about the exact meaning. If you find a translation error, please let us know at email@example.com.
