Twitter argues that it sold all titles related to the MoPub domain to Applovin. The DPC says we filed the complaint against Twitter Ireland so it will continue to investigate this entity. We insist that Twitter, Inc. is liable for MoPub's past violations and that the deletion of all of the Complainant's data should not prevent the DPC from sanctioning Twitter.

DPC sends a letter to noyb. Twitter claims that it transferred all rights, titles and interests in the mopub.com domain name to Applovin Corporation in February 2022. Moreover, all the data collected has been deleted.

DPC wrote that their assessment suggests that the DPC may not be the competent authority to carry out investigations under Regulation 17 of S.I. No. 336 of 2011 because the complainant's device was outside of Ireland at the time of the violation.
