This is one of noyb 101 complaints which were filed after the "Schrems II" judgement in Summer 2020. The judgement invalidated the EU-US data transfer mechanism "Privacy Shield". The cases were generated based on implemented Google Analytics or Facebook tracking code on websites by EU providers, which leads to unlawful data transfers to the United States.

DSB issued its decision. It is more or less a copy paste of C029-44 (Netdoktor), but with a few nice additions: a) IP anonymization is irrelevant, as it happens only on Google servers, b) risk based approach is not foreseen in GDPR.

Controller emailed again

CEO emailed again, saying (1) they had fixed Art.49 consent, (2) updated the text in English, but claim they cannot find the "_gads" cookie that is dropped. noyb explained why we cannot withdraw.
