One of the complaints noyb filed against Meta on the planed used of massive amounts of user data for unspecified "AI technology". Instead of asking users for their consent (opt-in), Meta argues that it has a legitimate interest that overrides the fundamental right to data protection and privacy of European users. noyb filed the complaints in the hope that some authorities will lunch urgency procedures and stop Meta from starting with this practice.
